Condolence Message
Dear Madam,
On behalf of the Executive Council and Esteemed members of the Ono-Ito Development Union, we write with hearts weighed down by sorrows to commiserate with you on the glorious home-call of your beloved husband, Late Barrister Bassey Inyang (DCP, Rtd.)
We received the news of his passing with deep pain, yet with submission to the perfect will of God, who gives and takes life according to His divine purpose. Until his death, he was a devoted husband, a committed Christain, a worthy son of Ono-Ito as well as our Union. As a former Chairman of Ono-Ito Development Union, he served our union with humility, wisdom, a d fear of God, leaving behind a legacy of selfless service, unity and dedication to community development.
As we deeply mourn his departure, we are consoled in the assurance of the Holy Scriptures that “Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord. . . for their works do follow them” (Revelation 14:13). His good works and contributions to the growth of Ono-Ito will forever speak for him.
We pray that the Lord God Almighty, the father of mercies and God of all comfort, will grant you, the children, and entire family divine strength, peace, and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. May the gentle soul of Late Barr. Bassey Inyang, through the mercy of God rest in perfect peace.
Accept our heartfelt condolences.
Yours in Sympathy,
Robert B. Ekanem
Chairman, ODU
